Religion’s Role to be Examined at History Congress

The World Summit on Media and Religion has been unveiled at MIPCOM 2006 by the World Congress of History Producers in partnership with Faith and Values Media. The event, to be launched in 2007, is intended to “build bridges of understanding among people of different faiths and cultures and examine the important undercurrent that religion plays in many of our documentary programmes” explains Executive Producer Craig Thompson. Delegates will have a chance to shape this new event in a session to take place on the closing day of the History Congress.
