Distinguished Duo to Moderate “The Great Debate”

Veteran television and radio presenter Peter Snow and his son Dan Snow have been tapped to moderate “The Great Debate: Producers vs Academics” at History 2006. The duo will guide the panel of academics, producers and broadcasters as they discuss the important issues facing history producers and programmers. See more programming details here.

Filmmakers to Share War Zone Experiences
Organizers have confirmed the participation of filmmaker Alexandre Trudeau as well as Richard Gizbert of Al Jazeera International on the panel “The Dangers of Covering History in the Making.” This panel will focus on filmmakers who have ventured into Iraq, Iran and North Korea, sharing techniques for gaining access and telling the compelling stories that come from these off-limit areas.
